·       12:25 – 13:45 Amsterdam to Prague | KL 1355 (1hr 20 minutes)
·       13:45 – 15:00 Connection time (1hrs 15 minutes)
·       15:00 – 17:25 Take Gepard Express Bus 721371 to Grandhotel Brno (2 hr 25 minutes)
Evening
·       Check-in
·       Dinner/Rest/Prepare for next day

I am in the Czech Republic for Czechia 2025 Fab Conference finally. It has been a long journey through Fab Academy (my Fab Academy journey is documented here) but I have done it and now I am very happy to be able to attend my graduation in the Czech Republic.

Travel Day went almost the same as what was described above. Here are some photos from yesterday to capture the moments.

Stopover at Amstersdam Schipol Airport

After a LONG 12-hour flight, my butt hurts but I am happy to have landed. We were greeted by an audacious mouse scurrying openly through Schipol Airport, after which, my colleague and travelling buddy, Bart bought me a coffee and we waited for our transfer to Prague. We sat in the cafe and chatted for a while and saw this adorable dog looking intently at our drinks. It did not feel so long before we got onto our plane to Prague. Bart fell for what seems to be an airline scam - The airline offered an upgrade to Business class for around $100SGD and he took it. The scam was that this was not for the longer 12-hour leg from Singapore to Amsterdam, but for the shorter 1-hr flight from Amsterdam to Prague. Since it was a smaller aircraft, there was no difference between Business class and economy. Damn. I was glad I did not do it. I was tempted to, but decided not to.

Arrival to Prague/Bus to Brno

We arrive at Prague Airport and buy bus tickets to Brno. After a bit of trying to figure out where the bus stop for the bus was, we found it and were finally on our way. We met up with some other makers from China who were taking the same bus, and helped them get on to the same bus - some had tickets for another bus 2 hours later but why waste time if you can get on this one. Off we go!

We reach Brno after around 3 hours and make our way to our hotel (Grandhotel Brno). We walk around the hotel area for a short while before having a satisfying dinner. And with that, Travel Day is done.
