Inflation estimation

Took a picture of this plaque at the Singapore Arts Museum. It's not very clear but it says 200 dollars each for the left column. These days I would say that you need to make a donation in the region of at least 20K to have your name on the plaque. Take note that these are major donors. So let's say 200 in 1907 = 20K now in 2009. So in roughly 100 years, your money is worth a paltry 1% of it's current value. Shocking.
