Job seeking: A necessary evil

Okay, I admit. I hate job seeking. It is one of those things that you must go through. Put on a smile, dress up, meet people, write up your CV, make a reel etc, etc, all to proof that you can meet the requirements of the job. It seems like all the effort is wasted on sending out summaries of you and what you can do, when you know you can already do the job (well, the large parts of it anyway). And I'll bet that of the score of CVs that I send out, perhaps 80% do not get read. Unfortunately this is a numbers game and a test of persistence. I really need to change my mindset and actually put in my hours. Well, back to the grind...
