Life can be simple or difficult.

I came across this video on youtube yesterday. It is beautiful. It is about a farmer in Thailand returning to the simple life after finding it "unnatural" to be slaving so many hours for so little return. I do dream of a day where life can be easy again. But as he said in his video, many people think he is crazy, while in reality, he is the sane one.


Here are some of my "problems" now:

1. My Note 3 is spoilt and I need to pay $350 to fix it. 
2. I  am unemployed and I am not sure what to do next.
3. I am reaching 35 this year and am quite broke.
4. I have defied "the system" but I am still not smarter than it (I have not learnt how to beat it)
5. There are things that I really like to buy now, but have to hold off on because I am jobless.
6. I have developed a mild rash and am still slightly overweight.

I also watched "Don't call us poor" on channel 5 yesterday. These are some of their problems:

1. 6 kids and living on welfare.
2. No water supply.
3. Kid is injured and mum can't pay the bills.
4. Old man needs money, but can't ask his kids.
5. Combined income of $1000. 2 girls plus one baby boy on the way. Father has hypertension and high BP.
6. 68 year old man lives hand to mouth working for a warehouse. Son can only give him $20 as a token.

When I compare these two lists, I think they would all trade places with me within an eye blink. My problems do not seem so big now. I just need to plan a little. And then execute that plan.
