Given away for a good cause

 

I don't often give away things that people gift to me, especially when given to me thoughtfully. As such, I thought about this for some time and decided it was the right thing to do.

This set of Batman was given to me by my good friend Kuodo when I left Southern Star. I have not opened it for more than 10 years and it has sat in my wardrobe for a while. My sister asked me if I had any toys to give for Indonesian children as one of our Priests was returning home to his home town in Indonesia. I thought about it for a while and you know what? This is the right thing to do. At least this Batman toys can make children happy somewhere (rather than just sitting in the wardrobe).

I took photos of it and thanked it for being mine before I gave them away. They are now immortalized in my blog, and I will look upon them more fondly and frequently than I would ever have had they remained in my wardrobe.
